Sagittarius Horoscope for Sunday, October 4, 2015

Sunday, October 4, 2015 - Oddly enough, your unexpressed feelings may be the most significant ones now because your idealism can attract out-of-this-world dreams. Actually, the subtle signals you're receiving might not even be on the radar of perception. Don't question which dimension the messages are coming from. Just listen carefully, even if you aren't sure what you're hearing. Write down every idea that pops into your awareness; your comprehension continues to grow and the big picture will be clear soon enough. Don't rule anything out too soon when you should be opening doors, not closing them.

The 12 Best Bodies in WWE History

Whether you consider pro wrestling fine theater or the most appalling spectacle on television, if you lift weights, you can’t deny that you’ve drawn inspiration from its Superstars. Wrestling has always been a melting pot of the biggest and most multidimensional athletes from all sports—from football players and powerlifters to bodybuilders and martial arts experts—and it’s showcased some of the world’s most famous physiques. We looked back at the best-developed bodies in the history of the squared circle, the ones who made us want to train and those who are inspiring today’s new generation of wrestling fans and fitness buffs.

4 Key Techniques to Maximize Chest Size

Nearly every old-timer with great chest development performed barbell or dumbbell pullovers. Not only does this exercise work the chest but even the lats and intercostals. Maximally-developed intercostals give the illusion of a bigger rib cage when taking a breath and holding pose. Recent research has confirmed that cable and machine pullovers are more effective for targeting the lats while barbells and dumbbells are for targeting the chest. Barbell or dumbbell pullovers are a necessity to truly maximize the illusion of a huge chest.

The 10 Most Attractive Body Parts Ranked by Women

Now that that’s out of the way, here’s a roundup—in no particular order—of the features women love on a guy; not just the body parts, but what specifically about them appeal to women. You can sculpt some in the gym, but others have already been fated by genetics (sorry). Either way, this will give you some insight on what females prefer. Hint: you’ll quickly find women are not much different than men.

5
The 30 Best Abs Exercises of All Time

Regardless of where you fit on that spectrum, effectively training the core comes down to the three planes of motion: frontal, sagittal, and transerve. Hitting all three with different exercises in a circuit keeps your workout intensity high, maximizes your progress toward sculpted abs, and can even lead to greater fat loss.

6
The Jacked Back Workout

Back training is like the tax code of physique building. The methodology is as diverse as it is mystifying, and as complex as it is confounding, but in the end your goal is simple: You just want to get as much back as possible (pun intended). You experiment with new workouts and flirt with multiple angles, all with the hope of adding a little swole to your rearview. If this sounds like you, breathe deep and let this simple strategy wash over you: Pull heavy stuff. Rest. Repeat.

9
Gaspari vs. Labrada

In the ’80s, when Lee Haney reigned supreme, two shorter champs battled to be No. 2. The younger Gaspari made it to the IFBB Pro League one year before Labrada, but both traveled the same path, winning their classes at the NPC Nationals and IFBB World Championships in back-to-back years. In 1987, Gaspari, the son of an Italian immigrant, bested Cuban refugee Labrada three times (twice by one place). This set up their legendary shootouts throughout Europe the next autumn—duels that pitted the freakishly dense and defined Gaspari against the perfectly proportioned Labrada. In those seven 1988 shows, they finished one-two in six and one-three in the other. Gaspari won four, Labrada three.

The 6 Worst Things You Can Do For Bigger Biceps

If you are planning on selling tickets to your own personal “ gun-show ” you better make sure the crowd will be impressed. The last thing you want is to throw up a biceps pose (with a big grin) and get booed off the stage. Unfortunately, while almost everyone in the gym tossing around the iron are quite passionate about filling out their shirt sleeves with muscle , most are making vital mistakes preventing this very goal from manifesting.

12
How to Get Defined Lower Abs

Don'’t worry about how many reps you can perform. Too many people try to do 20, 30 or even more reps for abs, but this tends to make you conserve energy in the weak areas of your abs and focus more on the strong parts.” Roland suggests that by crunching your weakest area -- your lower abs -- you'll improve the quality of each set, even if you aren'’t able to perform as many reps.

5 Fat-Burning Speed and Agility Drills

How to do it:  You need a start line, plus a first sprint line, a second sprint line, and a third—and longest—sprint line. Each sprint will be twice as long as the last. For example, on a basketball court, start under the basket, sprint to the first foul line, touch, and then sprint back to the start. Next, sprint to half-court, touch, and then sprint back to start. Then, sprint all the way down across the court, touch the end line, and sprint back to the finish (under the basket). That's one Death Valley. (Note: Do these on an open running space such as a basketball court, tennis court or driveway—grass may be too slippery.)

The Kuclo Chronicle

When her heart stopped, the 777 was cruising at an altitude of 30,000 feet. Three hours prior, she’d suffered severe abdominal pain. Then, when an announcement asked if there were any emergency personnel on the flight from Rio de Janeiro to Miami, it was Dallas firefighter-paramedic Steve Kuclo who responded to assist the Brazilian woman. She seemingly recovered. But later, her husband noticed she wasn’t breathing. A worried flight attendant retrieved Kuclo again. He carried the woman to the back of the plane. There, for 40 minutes until the jet emergency landed in Costa Rica, he did all he could with the available medical equipment to save her life. She couldn’t be revived. Death is a familiar aspect in one of Kuclo’s jobs. What made this valiant lifesaving attempt unique was its stark proximity to his other, more celebrated job. He was returning from Rio, having won the Arnold Classic Brazil the day before.

The 8 Most Basic Rules of Clean Bulking

“You cannot gain muscle or weight if you continue to be in a caloric deficit. You need to take in more calories on a daily or at least weekly basis,” says Trink. (Most guys, especially those new to the weight room, mess this part up.) A good estimate of how many calories you should be consuming is to take your body weight and multiply it by 16. (For example: 200 pounds x 16 = 3200 calories.) If you don’t see any gains after two weeks, try increasing your calories by 200 until you hit the sweet spot.

MMA Fighter's Large Breasts Get Her Bounced

Moving up in weight class seldom serves as an advantage to MMA fighters , which is why Brye Anne Russillo wasn't too pleased when told she must go up in weight class for her next bout. What's to blame for this unwelcomed bump? Her double-D breasts! That's right, it's her hefty knockers that knocked her out of her current fighting class.

10 Workouts That Work Better Than "Cardio"

The key to making an interval workout is including movements that challenge your entire body in a single exercise. Aim to include at least two exercises back to back before allowing your body to recover. Catch your breath in between rounds, but don’t allow yourself to recover fully before attacking the next set. Include at least a day of rest in between workouts as these intervals are intense, and you'll see results a treadmill could never replicate. To get you started, try these 10 alternatives to traditional  cardio .

The Blond Bomber: Why We Do It

The smiles on the beaches were hard earned, and their payment was gained in the dark confines of gyms filled with heavy iron. Barbells and dumbbells were the source of resistance that built the muscles that built the men that built the magazine. We lifted the cold and noisy metal not for a moment on a page of paper, but for reasons, wonderful reasons, too numerous to count. Oh, heck! Let me give it a try.

The Carb-Rotating Diet for Bodybuilders

Instead of having a daily plan, it’s crucial to understand how many carbs you should consume each day of the week, because your diet varies significantly from day to day. Good sources of slow-burning carbs are yams, brown rice, oatmeal, and whole-grain breads. Fast-burning carbs come from sugar, honey, and low-fat processed breads. You can even consume desserts such as angel-food cake on some days so long as they are extremely low in fats. The following plan is based on a bodybuilder who typically eats about 300 grams of carbs per day for of-season bodyweight maintenance. You may need to adjust these numbers up or down depending on your body weight, metabolic rate, and typical carbs/calorie intake when you’re not dieting.

What Does Your Pee Say About Your Health?

What does your pee say about your health? More than you’d think. “Most of the variation in urine color has to do with a person’s hydration level and the subsequent concentration of urine,” says Phillip Pierorazio, M.D., Assistant Professor of Urology and Oncology, and Director of the Division of Testis Cancer at the James Buchanan Brady Urological Institute.

They trained for 10 weeks and also did a variety of upper body exercises so as to simulate a real-life program since no sane person who is serious about getting strong or putting on muscle would do only one exercise.

34
Are There Holes in Your Diet?

Why: “In general, if you’re a young, fit adult who eats well and gets outside, you’re not going to be D deficient,” says Thomas Sherman, Ph.D., an associate professor of pharmacology and physiology at Georgetown’s Medical Center. But if you don’t get adequate sunlight and are missing D from your diet, you should know that muscle coordination and how much of the vitamin you have can go hand in hand, Sherman notes. Some research in the elderly even suggests that vitamin D can help with calcium absorption and decrease the risk of falling. Other data shows that vitamin D levels are associated with neuromuscular performance, VO2 max, and speed. “Given that relationship, it’s fair to say athletes would benefit from vitamin D supplementation,” Sherman says.

10 Reasons You Can't Keep The Weight Off

In order to lose weight and keep it off, consistency is absolutely essential . “What a lot of people don’t realize is it’s not just about how much can you pump and push in a day, it’s also about the psychological aspect of knowing ‘I did something today,’ Taub-Dix says. It doesn’t have to be a ball-breaking workout, just something to show yourself you’re paying attention and working toward your goals. “It’s the impression of being on a day ‘off’ that leads you to be much more lax in your diet,” Taub-Dix adds. (How many times has your day off involved take-out Chinese food or a circle of friends and half-off appetizers...) That’s not to say you shouldn’t be able to relax in your diet or exercise regimen, but you should never feel like you’re turned off.

5 Myths about Running You Can Stop Believing

Running is one of the first movements you learn as a kid (you know, once you nail down crawling, standing, and walking). You fall into the motion pretty naturally, and then learn the basics of stretching, form, workouts, and more from gym teachers and coaches as you grow up. And for the most part, nothing's really changed since you first ran. Or so you thought. Sure, most of the recommendations we've been told have remained steadfast over the years, but there are some old beliefs that can be put to rest.

How To Deal With Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain can impede you progress at the gym with just about any upper-body exercise as well as everyday activities. After sustaining an injury to the shoulder, it’s best to avoid any weight-lifting exercises that bring about increased pain to the injured area and instead focus on cardiovascular work or strength training to your lower body. After 5–21 days of active rest, it’s appropriate to begin weight training again with decreased loads as well as with the modifications mentioned. If the injury doesn’t improve after 2–3 weeks, it’s time to seek further medical attention and intervention to prevent further injury.
