Banded shoulder dislocates with an added "wrap around" are a great way to get the feel of your lats for deadlifts, pull-ups and Olympic lifts. They're also a good general warm-up for your shoulders. How to get monster shoulders

Do it: Hold a dumbbell in each hand and stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Keeping your lower back in its natural arch, bend at the hips so the weights lower to just above your knees. Explosively extend your hips and knees and "shrug," powerfully pulling the weights up to chest level. Then flip your wrists over so that the momentum carries the dumbbells to shoulder level. Press the weights overhead. (You should finish in the starting position of a shoulder press.) Try these as your main lift of the day, and do two to four sets of five to eight reps.

Reflecting on Strong(er) Business: elitefts Fitness Professionals Summit

It was a great presentation to close off with because quality service and attention is what elitefts provides to everyone. When I signed up for the event, I knew it was going to be top-notch — not only the event but also the social interaction afterward. As good as the information provided at these events is, most of the best moments come in the hallways and social gatherings. I missed the social event during the Sports Performance Summit in February and made sure I would not do that again.
