Thibaudeau's Simple Fat Loss Strategies | T Nation

If you aren't going to train hard, and your goal is fat loss, then you don't need "fast fuel" that day. Note that if your goal is to build maximum size, not get lean, I recommend having carbs on off days. But when trying to get lean this is a very simple approach. You don't even need to necessarily count calories, just don't eat any carbs.

Tip: From Block Pull to Deadlift | T Nation

Some lifters may not have the most advantageous limb length (short arms/long torso) or ankle and hip mobility to pull a deadlift from the floor. This may result in an ugly pull or strained back. The block pull will help you build "sticking point" strength and overall safe pulling volume.

You need to unrack the bar, then "set it" in the same exact position in which you want to finish. This should be directly above where you lower the bar. If you bench to your lower pecs, then the bar should start above the lower pecs. This will create a straight line both on the eccentric and concentric. Most stacks go up to about 95 pounds, which is fine for most lifters when they're doing triceps pushdowns or cable curls, but it might be limiting when you want to do something that requires a heavier load, like cable pull-throughs .

If you’re feeling pain or tightness post-workout, you can use a long, semi-soft foam tube to give your muscles a massage. “Foam rolling breaks up scar tissue and knotting in your fascia, which—if left unattended—can lead to nagging aches and pains in your joints,” says Gaddour. Tip: Mini-Fasting for Fat Loss | T Nation

Lifters are often wary of intermittent fasting schemes. At first glance, the diets sound so promising.
