Fish Oil by MusclePharm at - Best Prices on Fish Oil!

I have ordered several different types of fish oils in the past and I think MusclePharm has gotten the price to quality ratio pretty down pat. Others will be slightly cheaper, but the EPA and DHA will be very low for the amount of Omegas that are actually in the product. This product is also good because a serving is actually 1 softgel instead of other brands getting you to take 2 or even 3 softgels . This helps a lot when you are watching your macros. Both this and the BodyBuilding Fish Oil Ultra are very comparable in serving and price. I have tried the BB branded fish oil, but I am not very particular in the lemon flavor coating. This is enteric coated which I feel that almost all fish oil softgels should be. I am giving this a near perfect rating as most of the time there are no fish burps, but sometimes you can get them, so it’s hit and miss. I would recommend this and would purchase again.

News broke recently that Calum Von Moger has gotten himself injured yet again after a rock climbing accident. This is his second major injury in less than a year - which begs the question: should active bodybuilding competitors risk injury through outside activities like rock climbing, sky diving, skateboarding, or any other potentially dangerous actions? Shawn Ray takes his experience as a pro bodybuilder and analyzes what a competitor should do if they have outside interests beyond bodybuilding that can lead to injury. Is it worth the risk when it can potentially destroy your entire hard-earned career? Shawn gives us his take in this GI News update. Check it out above! Push-Pull-Legs: The Ultimate Split | T Nation

But if you're training chest, shoulders, and triceps in one session, then back and biceps the next, you're giving the pushing muscles a chance to be taken through some active and loaded stretching during back day (vertical and horizontal pulling) which can serve as a bit of localized recovery. If you need to stimulate the push muscles again that week, you just throw in another session for it.

5 Proven Ways to Keep the Muscle Coming | T Nation

It's important to keep tension on the working muscles and increase the time under tension for each and every set. One advanced method to achieve this is called continuous tension sets, which is a technique that defies the time-honored tradition of locking out every rep. Just stop right before the weights are locked out at the top and proceed directly into the next rep.

Tip: Eat Dinner, Die a Few Hours Later? | T Nation

Since then, we've seen this type of thing happen over and over again to millions of men who, after pounding down a meal that would have embarrassed Caligula, suffered a coronary event a short time later, and the belief persists that it's more than likely just the result of a long string of bad meals.

The elitefts Timeline

The story of how elitefts got started depends on if you’re talking to Dave or Traci. They both, however, agree that it would not have been possible without each other. For Dave, realizing there were thousands of coaches and athletes looking for quality training advice, he set up a simple question-and-answer forum through a powerlifting website and began writing articles to help these athletes and coaches. It was at this moment elitefts was born. Dave saw a need and set out to meet it: “I could not believe the incredible amount of misinformation in regards to strength training.” For Traci, she set up the business entity for a consulting business for fitness and personal training. While venting her frustrations at the gym one day, Louie Simmons chimed in, “Why don’t you sell my products?” They started with several products and a $1000 loan, and the rest is history.

Iron Sport Workout Program #1

NEW from Iron Sport Gym! Iron Sport has built a reputation as one of the finest gyms in the country, if not the world, but I know that not everyone is in a position to visit our facility. It occurred to me that a simple way to help many serious lifters is by sharing some of the workouts and training methods that we use here at Iron Sport. I’ve been training athletes for decades and training myself for even longer and have many things to share. If you can’t make it out to Pennsylvania, at least you’ll be able to have a little piece of Iron Sport in your own gym or weight room. For the following program, my goal is to provide you with all the important details that I can think of and erase any confusion so that you can put all your efforts into your training and not end up frustrated over not knowing what to do. If you are truly serious, I’m going to just come right out and say that the best option would be to come and train with me at Iron Sport but if that isn’t possible, this workout will be the next best thing. This is a 21 page downloadable PDF which provides all the details of a 16-week Power program: specific exercises, coaching tips, assistance movements, and other suggestions for making this program work.

Tip: A New Way to Row | T Nation

Fourth, the rotational nature of the rope produces both converging and diverging hand positions at different phases of the movement. For instance, during the concentric phase, there's a natural spreading of the hands (towards the sides of the torso) creating a greater squeeze in the upper back in the fully contracted position. In contrast, the eccentric or negative phase pulls the handles closer together in a converging fashion creating additional elongation and stretching of the lats.

Tip: From Block Pull to Deadlift | T Nation

Some lifters may not have the most advantageous limb length (short arms/long torso) or ankle and hip mobility to pull a deadlift from the floor. This may result in an ugly pull or strained back. The block pull will help you build "sticking point" strength and overall safe pulling volume.

Tip: A Different Way to Do Pulldowns | T Nation

The kneeling pulldown will hit your back in a different way than the standard (not-from-the-floor) pulldown, but consider it supplemental rather than a priority. You'll probably want to do them at the end of your workout because you can't really load them quite as heavily as you might need to. There are two reasons for this:

The Food Combo That Makes You Fat | T Nation

The researchers noticed that the high fat group and the fat/sugar combo group had the exact same hormone response from the diets (i.e. leptin, a hunger hormone, had the same response). This caused the researchers to look for other hormones or nerve signals that may have caused this. What they discovered is that something about the high fat, high sugar diet was being communicated to the brain via the gut and liver.

20 Muscle-Building Monkey Bar Exercises For a Killer Bodyweight Workout

How to do it: Starting from the bottom of a pullup position—your legs dead hanging straight down—begin to swing your body into a hollow position. To do this, pull your belly in and extend your legs out so they’re slightly in front of your body. Your shoulders are the prime movers here. When your body is squeezed and forward in the midst of the hollow position, your body will resemble the letter C. Next, forcefully pull back so your body and chest move forward and your legs move back behind your body (think of creating an inverted C). Keep alternating these two motions until you can see above the bar. When you can pull high enough to see above the bar, pull into the bar, then quickly push away, swinging back into the forward position (inverted C). From here, you’ll drop down to the hanging position and begin again.

Tip: The Drill You Need for Upper Body Mobility | T Nation

For resisted scapular slides, use a cable pulley and perform the lift from a seated position. This allows you to focus on avoiding back hyperextension, which is a common compensation pattern when you have bad shoulder mobility.

Tip: 4 Keto Diet Fails - Biotest

Another common error, especially among lifters, is eating too much protein while trying to do a "keto" diet. In this case, it's a mistake. See, protein can be turned into glucose by the liver (gluconeogenesis). If you ingest too much, you'll simply use that protein for fuel by turning it into glucose, and keto adaptation will be a lot harder.
