If you are like me and work out at night (10 PM), you will not be able to sleep until 4 AM. No lie! I usually take this if I do not have work to the next morning. It does not make me paranoid or increase my heart rate, but it just makes me stay focused and awake. My tolerance for caffeine is pretty high. I can handle up to 4 shots of espresso before I can feel a surge of energy if that puts things into perspective. At one point, I was taking 2 scoops of Axiom pre-workout because I was not feeling anything with just 1 scoop. For this product, 1 leveled scoop and I am good to go! With that being said, this pre-workout is totally effective. It keeps me totally focused and gives me the energy I need to get through my work out. This gives me the push I need to finish my last and heaviest set. Also, helped me focus to reading for 4 hours straight after my late night workouts. Yes, I am a college student. Anyway, I do experience slight tingling where I sweat such as my palms and around my knees when I wear knee wraps, though. It does not bother me enough to where it makes me itchy like other pre-workouts.
