Sagittarius Horoscope for Friday, May 20, 2016

Friday, May 20, 2016 - You may be overly sensitive to the cosmic tides these days; progress is too slow for your taste now that Mars and Saturn are backpedaling in your sign. However, the emphasis could be on someone else while the Gemini Sun sheds light on your 7th House of Partnerships, setting up a dilemma between your internal and external worlds. Consider ways to express your own needs while still honoring the most significant relationships in your life. Being true to yourself doesn't mean that you must ignore everyone else.

The 10 Most Attractive Body Parts Ranked by Women

Now that that’s out of the way, here’s a roundup—in no particular order—of the features women love on a guy; not just the body parts, but what specifically about them appeal to women. You can sculpt some in the gym, but others have already been fated by genetics (sorry). Either way, this will give you some insight on what females prefer. Hint: you’ll quickly find women are not much different than men.

Add One Inch to Your Arms in One Month

The key to serious size is to take that mythical, only-in-the-gym pump and turn it into permanent muscle. Sure, you can do some fast back-to-back exercises and push your pump through the roof—causing your clothing to fit tight—but just a few short hours later, that pump is gone, and you don’t have the muscle to show for it. The answer to this dilemma is to combine pump-type training with permanent size- and strength-building exercises, then allow for maximal recovery before beating your muscles into submission in the next workout.

Hormone Control

A number of bodybuilders have e-mailed me requesting the same thing: “Can you check out my precontest diet?” Time and again, their approach to dieting is the same: no carbs. A no-carb or very-low-carb plan can be effective — it almost always means fewer calories, so that’s a plus. It also means insulin, a potentially fat-storing hormone, is controlled. But it doesn’t guarantee a ripped fat-free physique. Getting ripped is about controlling calories while simultaneously keeping hormones in balance. That’s what this article is about — providing the guidelines for a hormonal profile that will keep your metabolic rate humming to burn bodyfat. Here’s the data on six main hormones you need to know about.

10 High-Intensity Workouts for Weight Loss

Directions: The idea is to move through these workouts as quickly as possible. Most of these routines target various muscle groups, so your lower body will have some reprieve while you're torching your upper body and vice versa. The goal is to keep your workouts metabolic, but passing out is never a fitness feat people look highly upon so if you need to take some time to catch your breath, do so.

My Six Favorite Mass Exercises

Let's get right to the guts of the matter. I could run through my list of favorite workouts, principles, techniques and combinations of exercises, but it all comes down to one basic old-fashioned “best” exercise for each bodypart, without which you cannot reach your maximum mass potential. That exercise is not the only one in the workout, but it’s the foundation movement. It works more of the muscle harder, heavier and more thoroughly than any other. Not every workout has to start with one of these favorites, but your training program should be designed around them.

6 Signs It’s Time to Switch Your Workout Routine

When you start a new routine, you feel the burn in the first set and by the third, you’re probably struggling to finish. The longer you do the routine, the easier this becomes—until it’s too easy. “During the exercises, you need to feel challenged in order to see results,” Fuentes says. If you’re shooting for 8 to 12 reps per set, but suddenly you can do 15 on the second and third set, it means your muscles have adapted too much and it’s time to increase your weight or change your routine, he explains.

World's Finest Trailer

World's Finest is a fan film directed by Sandy Collora. It works as a trailer to a movie that doesn't exist: the long-awaited cinematic team-up of Superman and Batman. While Superman and Batman have appeared together often in comic books and in animation (notably Super Friends), this fan film is the only time that the characters have been on the screen at the same time in live action. The title refers to a famous comic that used to be published, featuring Batman and Superman working together in every issue. Colorra never intended to produce the entire film on his own; this film was intended as an audition reel, showing his directorial talents. Despite the popularity of and acclaim for this project, an official Batman/Superman movie has yet to be made. more info at: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0420324/ © Sandy Collora & Collora Studios http://www.collorastudios.com

Your Diet and Exercise Plan Is Not Working. Here's Why.

Here’s some health advice you won’t see mentioned anywhere: most fitness and diet tips are limited. They are the fuel to living a better life, but they are not the engine. Tip: Stop Eating Like a Pro Bodybuilder | T Nation

Many men get tripped up by copying the diet of their favorite bodybuilder or hypertrophied action movie star. The problem? Well, most men don't have the genetics of a pro, they don't do the marathon workouts of a pro, and they're not using the drugs the pros are using. Heck, even guys on steroids probably aren't using a tenth of what the pros use.

7 Reasons to Get Fit in Your 20s

A perk to being lean, fit, and muscular in your 20s is that it certainly won’t hurt your odds in the romance department. But believe it or not, there are more important reasons to hit the gym and get in shape while you’re young. To highlight a handful of them we spoke with certified personal trainer John Rowley.

46
Bilateral vs. Unilateral Training

The amount of combined weight you can lift using one arm (or leg) at a time (unilateral training) is greater than the weight you can lift using both arms together.

47
Go Back for Bigger Triceps

The most popular triceps exercises are skull crushers, pushdowns , and dumbbell kickbacks —all of which emphasize development of the lateral and medial heads of your tri’s. Those two form the outer part of the muscle, the area most visible when people look at you from the side. But the long head is equally important, and makes up a considerable portion of the upper arm. If yours is lacking, you can target it directly by moving your arms overhead—and that’s where the overhead cable extension comes in.

Arnold's Teenage Weightlifting Routine

Early in Arnold Schwarzenegger's career, he competed in weightlifting contests to prove that bodybuilders' muscles aren't just for show. This routine, which Arnold followed in the mid-’60s, combines conventional bodybuilding training with Olympic weightlifting exercises that build brute strength. He rested as long as needed—sometimes up to five minutes—between sets of heavy exercises.

The Maxed Out Muscle Workout: Triceps

As the name implies, the triceps consist of three muscle heads—the lateral, long, and medial. The lateral and medial parts get worked mainly with pushdown variations and close-grip pushups, while the long head is hit by skullcrushers. Dips work everything hard.
