Bodybuilding.com - Huge Online Supplement Store & Fitness Community!

Not all training is the same. Bodybuilders train with heavy weights to create a large, balanced physique. If you're after a beach body, you're looking for a leaner look, so you need to eat and lift a little less. But there's more to it than that.

Platinum Multivitamin | MuscleTech

I've been using the Platinum Multivitamins for well over a year now and I've been very satisfied. They are a great blend of vitamins, minerals, and aminos (which many men's vitamins don't contain). The pills dissolve well after ingestion so I've never had an issues with an sort of after taste or reflux. The price is very reasonable for a 30-day supply of a high-quality product.

Your show has positively impacted my life and scientific trajectory, @joerogan . However, contrary to tweets attached--JRE *does* present a unbalanced perspective on nutrition that overwhelmingly promotes a low-carb narrative. Creatine by Universal Nutrition at Bodybuilding.com - Lowest Price on Creatine!

Energy is created when ATP releases one of its phosphate groups (ATP then becomes ADP). Creatine donates a phosophate back to ADP, reforming ATP, and thus restoring your ATP pool.* By doing so, you can work out harder, longer, and more effectively.* Creatine use can increase your strength and performance.* It can help build lean mass by volumizing and hydrating muscle cells, thus creating a necessary anabolic environment for growth.*

Tip: A Better Way to Do Face-Pulls | T Nation

Moreover, one problem with face pulls is getting too fast with the movement and using the arms too much, which defeats the intended purpose of working the upper back. Adding thick handles helps you take the arms out of it, allowing you to think about using your upper back to do the work. Not only do you get some extra work for the forearms, but you also make the exercise more effective for the upper back.

5 Years of Insane Gains | T Nation

To be fair about training accessories, finding the right training shoe is pretty important. A good pair of shoes to squat in is actually about the only thing you need to worry about. I squatted in the gym and competition wearing Adidas Sambas. Some guys like Chuck's. Others like a heel-elevated shoe. Here's the thing though: no one can tell you which one of these are best for you. You actually have to try them out and pick a pair based on your ideal squatting mechanics.

16 8 Back Exercises You've Never Even Seen | T Nation

For upper back strength and size, nothing beats rowing exercises. Sadly, most lifters do rows with crappy technique and body mechanics, eliminating the benefits. Here are several unique rowing variations that not only crush your back (in a good way), but also eliminate form issues by forcing you to use proper mechanics.

Tip: Stop Knee Pain Fast With This Exercise | T Nation

Knee pain is typically located right below the kneecap, which is known as patellar tendon pain or tendinopathy. When that pain persists, the pro you seek out will usually prescribe exercises for it – ones in which the lowering (eccentric) phase is emphasized. But these movements are often painful to perform and have even been known to exacerbate the pain. There's a better solution, one that immediately relieves angry knees.

Training and you just never know

I hesitate to write this but I feel a bit compelled to say something about it. Two Thursdays ago I received a  text from a friend. I had not heard from him in quite some time.  When I first got in contact with him , a friend had asked me to help him out with his tricep rehab. He had just recently had tendon repair and was trying to rehab and get back to lifting as quickly as possible like we all want to. Having gone through a few rehabs personally on my own and the tricep being one of them I was glad to give out some strategies that helped me.

Tip: The Weirdest Way to Leg Press | T Nation

Let's turn the Smith machine into a lying leg press machine. You'll need to set the pins or safety catches here so that the bar is resting on them at the bottom. It will need to be high enough for you to wedge yourself underneath the bar, but low enough so that you're getting a decent range of motion. No three-inch rep stuff.

The Hybrid Athlete Program | T Nation

The best training split is one that stimulates the physiological processes needed to achieve your goals—strength, athleticism, and size—while optimizing recovery of your CNS and joints. This allows you to train consistently. For most, this is a heavy-light upper-lower, or an intensive/extensive upper-lower training split. (Don't get freaked out by all that jargon; there's a sample program below.)

Paleo: The Good, Bad, and the Ugly - Biotest

So where do your carbs come from on many paleo plans? Primarily from fruit, honey, and starchy vegetables like parsnips and squash. But since nobody has the time to bake a squash and have it ready to go after every workout, fruit and honey become a frequently-used carb component. Both are lacking for workout recovery.

Tip: Get Jacked Legs with 50-Percent Sets | T Nation

With no change in the weight, do another set. The goal of the second "set" is to try and get at least half as many reps as you did on the first set. So if you got 12 reps on the first set, you'll rest one minute, and shoot for at least 6 reps on the second set.

The Simple Cure for Weak Body Parts - Biotest

It's human nature to gravitate towards the things we're good at and shy away from the things that make us feel weak. Consequently, our strengths get stronger while our weaknesses get weaker, or at least they appear to be weaker compared to our strengths. That's exactly what happens with weak bodyparts. Weak bodyparts are typically genetic issues that have been compounded by poor training, bad program design, or general neglect.

Push-Pull-Legs: The Ultimate Split | T Nation

But if you're training chest, shoulders, and triceps in one session, then back and biceps the next, you're giving the pushing muscles a chance to be taken through some active and loaded stretching during back day (vertical and horizontal pulling) which can serve as a bit of localized recovery. If you need to stimulate the push muscles again that week, you just throw in another session for it.
