Layne as always thank you for your wisdom and knowledge. I wanted to ask you if a range of 6-8 is always most optimal to ensure growth and strength gains when bodybuilding ? I typically do my squats in high volume reps with a pretty substantial amount of weight (i.e. 4-5 sets of 10-20 reps) but I don't feel I'm getting the growth that I should be and my strength fluctuates each week which can be discouraging. I'm going to incorporate this strategy and I wanted to ask your guidance on what would be the best way of going about warming up to my working sets of 4x6 for my heavy compound lift?
