15 Cheap Muscle-Building Foods That Aren't Chicken

If you’re trying to build muscle, you’ve surely been told that you should load up on chicken—and with good reason; each serving of chicken breast has about 28 grams of protein. But it’s certainly not your only option if you’re trying to supplement all of the hard work you do at the gym by stocking your kitchen properly. We consulted with several experts to get their best suggestions for other foods that help you bulk up—without draining your wallet.

The 500 Rep Shoulder Workout | T Nation

Use a rope for this hybrid movement, which is part upright row, part face-pull. The entire shoulder complex is going to get hit here. Instead of standing upright, lean back a bit and use the weight stack as a counter balance. With the rope at the lowest point on the pulley, you'll then pull up to your face and chin area as you pull your hands apart.

8 Worst Things You Can Do to Build a Bigger Back

Whether your goal is to be a 250 lb. freak or 185 lb. sculpture, all of us who lift want to develop a V-shaped back with enough bumps and lumps to match the Rocky Mountains. However, this is no easy task, as the musculature of the back is quite complex and often hard to feel while lifting. It’s quite common to hear fellow trainees complain that when they try and work their lats, they manifest a better pump in the forearms and biceps, which does little to stimulate back growth.

H2O for the Bodybuilder

As an athlete or a healthy person—you know soda is not the best choice for a beverage, but drinking plain water sometimes seems more like a chore rather than the right thing to do for your body. More and more people today are “hooked” on diet sodas and carbonated beverages than ever before. Bodybuilders on a contest diet like to drink it, as the carbonation keeps them full and they like the taste better than plain water. It also feels like a treat to have a diet soda in a world of plain, unseasoned contest foods. But not only can diet sodas hinder weight loss and upset your digestive process, they can also prevent your body from ridding itself of excess water. The hardest part of getting on the “drink water” bandwagon is getting of the soda roller coaster. Rather than going cold turkey and moving straight to plain water, I have a plan that I use with many athletes and clients that either have difculty getting enough fluids in or for those trying to kick the habit of carbonated drinks and sodas. If you are used to drinking diet soda and carbonated beverages, the easiest way I’ve found to kick the habit is to wean down.

10 Training Tips for Gaining Lean Muscle

While your time in the gym is certainly responsible for creating a training effect, your time outside the gym is responsible for repair and growth. On top of making sure your nutrition is on point, be sure to get solid, consistent sleep (8-9 hours per night) and try to reduce outside stress as much as possible. You’d be amazed at how much these factors truly effect your ability to improve your body composition.

STRONG Life 95: Muscle Building VS Fat Loss, Fatherhood & Strength Coach Advices • Zach Even-Esh

What's easiest diet to follow if you use 5/3/1 or any strength program? I've lost 40 pounds not knowing what I was doing but am now at around 20% body fat I would like to get to 10-15% before I switch focus to building muscle, I seem to be having a hard time losing that last 10 pounds or so?Any guidance you can give in how to lose unneeded fat would be appreciated. I love Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 and don't see myself straying away from the principles because of all the templates and variations you can use. Do I need to be tracking macros and calories etc?

Strongman Sex Positions to Make Her Climax Tonight

Most of the time, less is more. Instead of trying too hard with moves from The Kama Sutra, work your couch game with The David. Literally, all you need to do is sit there and look good. Think Michelangelo’s statue of David. Tighten up, grab hold of something she likes touched, and let her do her thing. Make sure you’re comfortable and in an upright position so you don’t need to fire your abs too hard, as that would make it difficult for you to remain statuesque. Positions that involve you and your lover sitting can be very pleasurable for both of you. The reason I like the couch is that it helps keep your posture correct. If you sit unsupported on a bed, you will end up slumping and miss the right angle and friction.

Six Perfect Post-Workout Meals

Starting the muscle building process by increasing protein synthesis and nitrogen retention requires a quick dose of the right protein and carbohydrates. Besides, your body prefers a wide variety of nutrient-dense foods. Try these six post-workout muscle-building meals that taste great and get results.

How to Meet Women

In many ways, meeting someone through an online dating site or app is similar to meeting someone through a friend—thanks to detailed online dating profiles, you have a chance to get to know people before you actually meet them.
