Randy Couture is a former heavyweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Couture is also one of only two UFC fighters to have held a championship title in two different divisions, heavyweight and light heavyweight, while in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Couture is the only five-time champion in UFC history. Couture is a member of the UFC Hall of Fame, and many consider him to be the most popular fighter in MMA history.

If your desire is to be the strongest man then you would do well to learn from Randy Couture’s training circuit. As with many professional fighters the goal is not always to be the strongest man physically, which doesn’t hurt, but to be the strongest man overall. To be the strongest man in a fight requires physical strength, as well as endurance and mental strength. Mental strength is best gained by pushing your body beyond its quitting point which is what Couture’s circuit training routine does.

The goal of this routine is not to increase muscle size but to increase muscle endurance. You will want to pick a weight that can be used for each of the movements you will see below so you are not having to change weight in between movements. What you will see in this video is actually only one set you should repeat this set 4-5 times for maximum effectiveness.
